DESCRIPTION: 

Services to be provided include, but are not limited to, the following:

·        Examine, diagnose and treatment of medical conditions with appropriate referral to a specialist if necessary

·        Order x-rays, laboratory tests, and other test necessary for diagnoses

·        Prescribe pharmaceutical drugs that are listed in the approved BOP Formulary

·        Evaluate referrals from clinical staff

·        Provide physician services which conform to community standards and all local, state, and federal laws and regulations applicable to the delivery of health care to members of the general public. 

REQUIRED: 

·        Any state license; active, unrestricted

·        BLS, ACLS (preferred)

·        Minimum 3 years acute or ambulatory care

·        Experience in Corrections preferred

COMPENSATION:

·        Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing and transportation needs, etc.)

·        Malpractice insurance provided

SCHEDULE:

·        Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm
