Monday-Friday clinic + OR. Beeper call in the evening.
Support Staff: 1 rooming nurse for 25 pts and 1 surgery scheduler and a procedure nurse in the procedure room. 3 NPs as well in the office to do the follow ups and the vasectomy consults and the H&Ps before surgery. There is also a nurse that does BCG (chemo) for patients in the office as well.
Average clinic volume: 20-25 patients with 50% in office procedures.
Average OR volume: Monday is OR day each week and one Thursday per month. 5-8 cases
Average weekday call volume: 5-10 calls minimal call back. Most calls are admitted and seen the following day. ER will only admit if needed. Majority of the patients follow up in the office based on pain level and stone size.
