Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Orthopedic Surgery/Physician to work Locums in Thomasville, North Carolina (NC). The anticipated start is ASAP, work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

 

 

The Orthopedic Surgery Role:

·      Serving as a City hospital to a local population of approximately. 27K.

·      Not a designated as a trauma center, does handle emergency and trauma care.

·      24-hour emergency department on-site.

·      Support: No App, solo cases. No additional hand surgeon on-site.

·      Procedures: Full general orthopedic coverage, higher level patients transferred to hospital to the north. 

 

Required:

·      NC License active, unrestricted.

·      Malpractice record, NPDB – clean for temp privileges.

·      Board Certification – Orthopedic Surgery

·      Residency/Fellowship – Full Joint trained – Sports Medicine.  

 

Schedule:

·      24-hr on beeper rate.

·      Weekends: Thursday, 7 am to Monday, 7a.

·      Supplemental coverage needed on various ongoing dates (TBD) 7a-7a.
