Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania (PA) to begin as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

 

 

The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:

DESCRIPTION: 

• 24 Hr Shifts (8a-8a) 8 a to 5p clinic + Call: Holding Beeper after clinic (inpatient)
• NICU level III
• Miniumum 4 shifts per month, can have up to 6 shifts per month
• Expected patients encounters per day: 8-10
• Average Deliveries for Hospitalists: 1-4
• Shifts in block coverage
• Full Scope, do not have to perform circumcisions
• ANES & MFM on site.
• EMR: EPIC

 

Requirements:

• PA License Active and unrestricted, IMLC (LOQ in hand)
• BC-Obstetrics/Gynecology, or Truly Board Eligible.
• BLS, ACLS, DEA, EFM
• Covid Vaccination – required, or medical exemption
• Minimum 100 deliveries in the past 24 months. 25 Gyn cases in last 12 months.
• Minimum 2-years of experience.
