US Territory hospital in the Eastern Pacific seeks a permanent ED APP to join their team. They are happy to set up a locums-to-perm assignment so the APP can experience what its like working in the Northern Mariana Islands before signing a perm contract. Travel expenses and federal tort malpractice included. Grab your sunscreen and immerse yourself into this vibrant culture in a tropical paradise.
Qualifications: BC NP/PA with ED experience.
Locum assignment option 2-12 week before signing perm
Perm Salary: $95,000/annum, based on 2080 hours per year
Locum Pay- Hourly equivalent to perm salary
One of the lowest tax burdens in the U.S.; Earnings within the Commonwealth are taxed at no more than the maximum CNMI tax rate of 9%. Also, there is no sales or property tax.
Schedule - two options:
- 80hr/biweekly Saipan ED
- 3 week rotating schedule: (a) 1 week Saipan ER (40 hours), (b) 1 week sole ER provider (24/7 on call) outlying island (Tinian or Rota), 1 week off.
Requirements:
- Willing to obtain license in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI)
- PALS, ACLS, BLS certified
- Interested in perm contract 1-3 years
- Enrolled in Medicaid/Medicare preferred, eligibility to enroll required

· Malpractice coverage provided under the CNMI Government Liability Act.
· Annual Leave accrues eight (8) hours per pay period (bi-weekly), with a full-time employment contract.
Sick Leave accrues at four (4) hours per pay period (bi-weekly)
