Psychiatry NP for Correctional Facility in Wisconsin
Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced psychiatric NP to work locum shifts in Waupun, WI. The role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
Psychiatric NP Position Highlights:
Population: Adults and adolescent males
Schedule: Flexible 4-day workweek (Mon–Fri), 7:30am–4:00pm CST with a 30-minute lunch
Hours: 32 hours/week guaranteed, potential for up to 40 hours/week
Contract: 26 weeks with strong potential for extension
Responsibilities Include:
Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
Prescribing medications and treatments
Conducting comprehensive physical exams
Coordinating care and referrals
Collaborating with physicians and specialists
Requirements:
Board Certification (PMHNP)
Active WI medical license
AHA BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (correctional experience preferred)
