California OBGYN Call-coverage: 1 Hour from Sacramento
Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Nevada County, California (1 hour outside of Sacramento) (CA). Starting as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- Need: Locums starting August thru December for maternity coverage.
- Setting: Hospital setting with a dedicated Family Birthing Center (L&D floor) which has its own OR for C-sections.
- Duties: Deliveries (average 23-30 deliveries per month), C-sections, ED call coverage for OB/GYN related issues.
- Required Procedures: All OBGYN. Specific procedures TBD
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: Anaesthesiologists (1 on-call after hours and on weekends for OR’s and FBC) General Surgeons, 3 local OB/GYN’s, 1 Family Medicine OB, Pediatrician on-call, experienced and skilled Respiratory Therapists.
Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- CA state license; active, unrestricted
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- CA State DEA
- Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption
