Hospitalist Locum Tenens Opportunity in Lexington, KY!
Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Lexington, Kentucky (KY). Starting in May 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Hospitalist role:
- Prefer APP (NP certified in Acute Care only, or PA) for NIGHT coverage 7p-7a, working alongside a physician 7p-7a and swing APP 3p-3a. Will also accept Physician for NIGHT coverage 7p-7a, working alongside a physician 7p-7a and swing APP 3p-3a.
- Site: 1502 St Joseph Main (please include site numbers on name clear requests).
Requirements of the Hospitalist role:
- Must hold an Active KY state license, DEA/CSR
- NPs must be certified in Acute Care – FNPs will not be accepted
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days after complete application/supporting documents have been submitted to CVO. Temp privileges are available on an as-needed basis upon file being deemed complete and ready for meetings.
- Minimum of 5 shifts per month availability
