Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist: Lima Ohio
Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Lima Ohio (OH). Starting as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- Dates of coverage: As soon as credentialed for 3-6 months.
- 10 call shifts per month
- Schedule: 24hr on call - 7a-7a
- Average Number of Admissions per Provider per day: 4-5
- Call Ratio: Full time call for the entered dates
- Required Procedures: C-section and other delivery based procedures
- EMR system details: Meditech and OBIX
- Other Details of Role: 24 hours call for the OB floor
- Estimated Credentialing Time Frame: 1-2 months
- 12 or 24 Hour Shifts: 24
- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes
- Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: Yes.
- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist:
- First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
- Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: No.
- Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No but yes too FM Residents. However, we have a Family Medicine Residency clinic who sees OB patients and delivers here. OB Hospitalists will back up those residents.
- Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes. (OB/GYN ED Call)
Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- OH state license; active, unrestricted
- Board certified OBGYN
- OH State DEA
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption
