A physician is needed for PRN Outpatient Locums position in Jamestown, NY. Physician will perform General Medicine to Adults, exclusively. $650 bonus for completing all required training and working the first shift/exam.
- Need is on a PRN up to full-time, ongoing (mostly depends on desired coverage)
- Accepting specialties: FM/IM/Orthopedic Surgery, etc. or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.
- Two options for coverage: Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practice.
- One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
- Exams are primarily interview-based w/some physical assessment. No prescribing/treatment
- Quick credentialing and onboarding
- Needing, at least, 3 Providers
- PRN shifts- options & rate type are as follows:
- Half-day Rate- flat rate for 4-hour shifts (includes time to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, not OT, no admin time)
- Daily Rate- flat rate for 8-hour shifts (includes times to complete exams, submit, report, including any addendums, no OT, no admin time)
Required:
- Active/unrestricted NY state license
- BC/BE (within 0-3 years of residency)
- Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required.
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
- Own personal laptop (NO MACS)
- Must be willing to wear a mask during all visits.
- DMA certified or willing to train/certify.
