** MUST have Extensive Breast Surgery Experience. Priority will go to bids with case logs included. **

 

DESCRIPTION: 

 

·      Availability offer: ONLY Full-time (20 SPM) – ** Seeking ONE full-time provider.

·      Schedule: Clinic M-F (8a-5pm). OR time – fluid (depending on OR block availability).

·      Call (Back-up): The main clinician will take all the call but if she is unavailable some weekends, they may ask the locum provider to cover 24hr beeper call.

  • Daily average call frequency: one per day – may not even need to go in.

 

PROCEDURES *UPDATE*: 

·      Required: - locum is ONLY REQUIRED to do Oncology Breast Surgery and Mastectomy/lumpectomy.

  • Including - including nipple, sparing mastectomy, participate in joint oncoplastic surgeries, sentinel note biopsy, and axillary dissection.

·      Not Required to do:

  • Not: reduction mammoplasty
  • Not: Augmentation Mammoplasty
  • Not: Mastopex

REQUIRED: 

  • CA state license; active, unrestricted.
  • Board Certified – General Surgery; Board Certified – Plastic; Secondary Specialty – Plastics (welcome)
  • ACLS, DEA
  • Breast Surgeries in last 24 months: approx. 100+
  • Fellowship – Breast Surgeon. (or) General Surgeon with extensive breast experience.
  • Facile Knowledge: High Risk and benign breast disease as well as survivorship.

COMPENSATION:

  • Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
