We are seeking locum coverage to support our inpatient teams in the psychiatric emergency room, consult liaison services, and possibly the MHU.

Schedule:

·        7 days on, 7 days off

·        Monday to Sunday

·        Variable 8-hour shifts

·        Evening on-call duties with low call volume

Patient Demographics:

·        Adults: 70%  Pediatrics: 25%

·        Average number of patients per physician: 20

Additional Information:

·        On-site security, Training in de-escalation techniques

EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

AK license, Active and unrestricte3d

BC-Psychiatry

Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (preference)

BLS certification

EPIC training and medication management training

 

COMPENSATION:

· Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)

· Malpractice insurance provided.
