Neurosurgery Locum opportunity: Redding, California (CA)
Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Neurosurgeon to cover 24-hr call locum shifts in Redding, California (CA) Currently have May and July dates available will have ongoing availability.
The Neurosurgery role:
Details:
24-hour Call-coverage (7a-7a)
Available Dates:
May 23 through May 29
July 21 through July 27
May be required:
- Assist in trauma services follow-up clinic for neurosurgery patients.
- Clinic held in hospital Trauma Services Department, ~1 day/week or less.
- Neurosurgeon supervises neuro-trauma APP.
Skills Required:
- Surgical repair for head trauma and skull defects.
- Surgery for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine; manage with backup/referral.
- Manage peripheral nerve injuries (surgical/non-surgical).
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies
Level II Trauma Center
EMR: Cerner
REQUIRED:
- CA state license; active, unrestricted
- BC-Neurosurgery
- CA Fluroscopy Certification required.
- DEA, BLS/ACLS
