Sumo Medical Staffing

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Family Medicine Physician to help with Locums coverage. Credentialing takes 1-2 weeks for this 2-month assignment and once credentialed you will be able to cover at any of the Virginia employee health clinics, PRN up to full-time. Mileage is covered for local drive-in candidates.

 

Family Medicine Physician Role:

• Provide Primary Care Medicine and preventative care for patients of all ages in a workplace located clinic for employees and their families. Services will also include patient health & wellness education, treatment of illness and minor workplace injuries, and ongoing chronic disease management.
• Short full-time assignment is 07/02/2025 - 07/31/2025, then PRN here and nearby
• Patient Census is generally 2-3 per hour

Requirements for this Family Medicine Physician role: 

• Virginia Medical License & DEA
• BC/BE ABFM
• BLS
• 2 years’ practice experience
