Sumo Staffing is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner for an Interventional Radiology position in Maryland. This need will likely start around September 1, 2015 and is ongoing.

Work Details: This is a full-time position, working Monday thru Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with thirty minute unpaid lunch. Provider will need to assess and review consults, talk to hospitalists to ascertain appropriateness for procedures, enter orders for pre procedure, post procedure and discharge, ensure patient can consent and H&P is in the chart etc. Ages of patients range from 20 years to 90 years old. The hospital uses Cerner as the EMR. Special procedures: Typical procedures are para's, thora's, embolization's, ports, permcaths, IVC filters etc.

Skills required: Ability to follow protocols regarding readiness for procedure, complete H&P's, write orders pre op and discharge.

Requirements:

• Board Certification

• MD License active at submission

• DEA

• BLS, ACLS

Credentialing Timeframe: 45-90 days
