Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Surgical Critical Care Trauma Physician to work locum shifts in Fairfield, California (CA). Intentions to offer and start ASAP for a responsive doctor, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

 

Surgical Critical Care role:

• Serving area around: San Francisco Bay Area Region, Napa Valley, Sacramento.
• Position Type: 10 in-house trauma call shifts per month for 6 months, both General and Trauma Shifts
• Average calls per shift: 15-25
• EMR: Cerner
• Trauma Designation: Level II (or higher experience)
• Provider Support: Collaborative team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Professionals

Requirements of the Surgical Critical Care role: 

• CA state license; active, unrestricted.
• Preference/Priority to Clean Malpractice background.
• General Surgery residency and Surgical Critical Care fellowship trained
• 1-year minimum experience in level 2 trauma hospital or higher
• Completion of accredited residency/fellowship program: General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care.
