Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to work OBGYN locum Clinic + Call shifts in Bardstown ,Kentucky (KY). Starting in September , the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:

Shift Types:

5 shifts in a row with 10 days off. Clinic is 8-5, M-F with 24-hour hospital call.

Job Description

Start: early September

Annual hospital deliveries: 225

Patients encounters per day annual encounters/1,865

Current L&D coverage model: covered by local phys and locums

NICU Level 1

Anesthesia coverage model: call nights/weekends

Clinic/outpatient responsibilities, if any: Full scope GYN

Gyn responsibilities: Full scope GYN

MFM Coverage: No

Procedures: Amniocentesis;Diagnostic Laparoscopy;Office/minor gynecology;Operative Laparoscopy

 

·Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role: 

KY License, active and unrestricted

BC-Obstetrics/Gynecology

BLS, ACLS, DEA

Covid Vaccination – required, or medical exemption

Case logs required at time of presentation.

Minimum 100 deliveries in the past 24 months. 25 Gyn cases in last 12 months.

Minimum 2-years of experience
