General Surgery: Cannon City Colorado
Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced General Surgeon to work locum shifts in Cannon City Colorado (CO). Start date September 1st 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Surgery role:
- Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric Patients
- Number of beds: 25
- Census/Admissions: 0-1
- 24 hour call coverage (7a-7a)
- Setting: Inpatient, Trauma Level 4
- Duties: ED call coverage
- Days per month: 6-10 days per month for all locums.
- Required Procedures: Bread and Butter General Surgery. Potential for emergent endoscopy.
- EMR: EPIC
- Reason for Coverage: Resignation of internal physician
- Dealbreakers: Lack of availability for dates
Requirements of the Surgical role:
- CO state license; active, unrestricted (IMLC will be considered as long as LOQ is in hand at time of presentation)
- Board Certified / Board Eligible
- CO State DEA
- ATLS, and BLS
- Must have a clean file to be considered
