Orthopedic Surgery Locum Opportunity: Tacoma, Washington (WA)

Sumo Medical Staffing is currently recruiting for a Board-Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide locum coverage at VMFH St. Joseph, a Level II Trauma Center in Tacoma, WA. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, competitive rates, and full support throughout the credentialing process.


Position Details:

  • Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery – Trauma
  • Location: Tacoma, Washington
  • Facility: VMFH St. Joseph
  • Shift Type: 24-hour call coverage (includes 4 hours gratis)
  • Coverage Needed: 2 weeks per month
  • Start Date: Flexible
  • Number of Providers Needed: 1

Requirements:

  • Board Certification: Required in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship: Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Fellowship required
  • Licensure: Active WA license or IMLC with LOQ in hand
  • Certifications: BLS and DEA required
  • Malpractice History: Clean preferred
  • Availability: Must be available at time of name clear
