Nurse Practitioner for Infectious Disease: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced NP to work locum shifts in Baton Rouge for Infectious Disease. Starting 10/13/2025- 10/5/26, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Infectious Disease Role:
- Infectious Disease need- Starting 10/13/2025- 10/5/26, Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
- on-call physician services as needed
- Type- Medical care and management for patients diagnosed with Hansen's disease (leprosy), as well as individuals with other acute and chronic complex medical conditions
- Work independently in developing diagnostic and treatment protocols in connection with complicated physical and mental problems of patients
- Evaluation of special study cases and of patients receiving investigational drugs and other forms of treatment as part of the clinic’s ongoing research programs to develop better methods of treatment
Requirements of the Infectious Disease role:
- LA state license; active, unrestricted
- Board certified
- 2 years of ID experience minimum
